VAT Changes
From 1 January 2010 the UK ends it temporarily lowered standard VAT rate, and the rate returns to 17.5%. This means that we now have to collect more tax on our online and offline transactions. The change will be made automatically on the basket and checkout pages as well on invoices issued from 1 January 2010.
VAT is collected on the sale of all font licences, and most other things that we sell, but only applies to consumer sales within the EU and business sales within the UK.
At the same time, there are changes to the rules which determine the Place Of Supply for the purposes of VAT, but these have no implications for online transactions. We will inform offline customers about the changes as transactions arise.
If you have any concerns or questions about the VAT changes and their implications for you, please contact us.
