- Bruno Maag, Managing Director
- Bruno Maag studied both Typography and Visual Communications at Basel School of Design. From there he immigrated to England, working for Monotype. He founded Dalton Maag in 1991 after a year in Chicago where he recut the fonts for the New Yorker Magazine.
- David Marshall, Operations Director
- David Marshall joined Dalton Maag in the summer of 1999, originally as a software developer, today he oversees Dalton Maag's day-to-day operations. He has an extensive knowledge of font and display technologies and a long-held passion for good type design.
- Amélie Bonet, Font Design
- Amélie Bonet graduated with a MA in Typeface Design from the University of Reading before joining Dalton Maag in the spring of 2010. Previously, she studied at the Ecole Estienne (Typography) and Ecole Duperre (Visual Communications) in Paris, and also worked as a freelance typeface designer.
- Ron Carpenter, Font Design
- Ron Carpenter is a veteran of type design. Before joining Dalton Maag in
1996, he worked for Monotype for over 25 years. At Monotype he designed typefaces such as Calisto and Amasis and was responsible for two of Monotype's notable revivals: Dante and Bulmer.
- Vincent Connare, Production Manager
- Vincent Connare joined Dalton Maag in the spring of 2001. An experienced type designer and font engineer, he had previously worked at Microsoft and at Agfa. His best-known designs form key parts of Microsoft products: Comic Sans, Trebuchet and Webdings. Vincent holds an MA in Typeface Design from the University of Reading.
- Shiraaz Gabru, Programme Manager
- Shiraaz Gabru has been with Dalton Maag since early 2007. He is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the delivery of all our projects.
- Angela Gilroy, Client Liaison
- Angela Gilroy joined Dalton Maag in 1998. She is responsible for bringing in new business and for making links with graphic design partners. Angela is keen to evangelize type throughout the British Isles and to that end organizes conferences, seminars and similar events, hosted by her and Bruno Maag.
- Fabio Haag, Font Design
- Fabio Haag joined the Dalton Maag in Spring 2008. Besides his duties in design and font production, Fabio is helping Dalton Maag establish a presence in the emerging market of South America. Fabio had previously founded the first type design company of the south of Brazil, designed our retail font Foco in collaboration with us, and has had other works exhibited in more than nine countries, including participation in Zich, 2006, that selected only 18 professionals in the castle of Santa Severa, Italy.
- Lukas Paltram, Font Design
- Lukas Paltram joined us in a permanent role in the summer of 2009. He previously completed our work experience programme during which he designed the Dalton Maag Exclusive font Grueber. Lukas studied graphic design and typography at New Design University in St Pölten.
- Malcolm Wooden, Font Production
- Malcolm Wooden joined Dalton Maag early 2008 to work on font engineering and production. His previous experience includes working at Monotype and later running his own digital type foundry DTP Types.
