About Us: Our History

Dalton Maag has been designing fonts and logos since 1991. In that time we have had steady organic growth, increasing our skills and knowledge, increasing the size of projects that we handle, and expanding our staff to, today, ten professionals in three offices across the world.

Dalton Maag in London is our primary office; it is where we first started assisting design agencies to provide high quality logo designs and font solutions to their clients. Today, most design and all production work is carried from our London office by our team of designers and engineers.

Dalton Maag Switzerland opened its doors in 2006, supporting and liaising with our German-speaking clients in all font-related issues. Although our Swiss office primarily deals with inquiries concerning our own products and services, our close relationship with other font foundries allows us to assist with queries about their products also.

Dalton Maag Brazil opened in 2008, where we believe we can contribute greatly to emerging high quality branding and design in South America. Besides day-to-day client liaison the office in Brazil also carries out font design to the same high standards as our London office, allowing us to respond quickly to any project arising in this exciting market.

We are proud to support and assist people in deepening their typographic skills. For this reason we have accepted internships for students and design practitioners for a number of years. Some of our past interns have become well-known designers and have designed successful font families.
