When a font has been chosen for a client or brand, it is vital that it is used consistently to maintain the identity throughout the organization. How the font is distributed is crucial to the success of the project.

Internet Downloads

We usually recommend that fonts are distributed via our website, or from the website of one of our partners or clients. With very little administrative effort, fonts are accessible quickly and reliably. In order to protect the client's investment in their fonts we place them in a private download portal. This also helps to ensure that everyone is using the correct version of any customized font. Depending on the licensing arrangements, the fonts can then either be purchased or downloaded for free.

Email

In special circumstances we will email a font to a distributor or a client. However, we discourage this method as it tends to be unreliable, expensive and time-consuming - for us, and for the client. It is also much more difficult to ensure that the correct version of a font is being used.

CD/DVD

Only on request will we produce a CD/DVD of the fonts and use postal services as method of distribution, as it tends to be slow and expensive. If you are concerned about data backup, any retail font purchases are available to download multiple times (up to your number of licences), and custom fonts are always available to the client for re-download as many times as needed.
