Our design team works closely with design agencies and corporate clients to help you achieve a typographic look and feel that meets the client's brief. Although the aesthetic expression is of vital importance, we belive that design must also fulfil functional criteria. Our long experience working in font design enables us to advise on the suitability of certain design styles in different environments. We are aware of accessibility legislation around the world and, having worked on a number of public sector projects, we are ideally placed to consult on the design and implementation of fonts.
We have designed and engineered fonts for some of the world's largest companies, and in doing so we have gained invaluable insight of how fonts are expected to perform, from wide installation to niche application. We can advise you clearly on language coverage, font formats, installation and integration of fonts, either custom or from our Exclusives library. Our technical team consists of font engineers and software engineers who are able to communicate with and support IT managers and professionals.
Sourcing
Although we always try to suggest a suitable font from our Exclusives library as a fresh alternative to many well-known names, as typographers we are happy to assist in sourcing fonts from other foundries to ensure the correct visual expression. Particularly in the case of non-Latin fonts it is often necessary to source an alternative design which is a close match. We have a good relationship with many competing foundries and are often able, with their permission, to apply modifications to a font to exactly meet your needs.
