Disability discrimination legislation requires that all design is to be as accessible as possible to everyone. Fonts therefore have to be as legible as possible to accommodate people with a diverse range of visual impairments. Languages

Today, as a standard, Dalton Maag supplies fonts that contain at least Basic Latin, Latin-1, and Latin Extended A character sets, supporting around fifty languages which use the Latin alphabet. For multinational clients we usually suggest to also include Cyrillic and Greek. By commissioning an original font containing these three script systems you are able to communicate with about three billion people in their native tongue. Naturally, we are skilled and ready to assist with more exotic script systems too.

Technology

No matter how beautiful and accessible your font is, if it doesn't work with the most common applications on the most common Operating Systems, it is of no use to anyone. Our technical team engineers fonts to conform to industry and international standards, using the best, most reliable tools available. We test and validate in a suite of applications across multiple Operating Systems. By commissioning an original font, we can also help you to meet the needs of your specific IT requirements and advise on the correct installation and usage.
